  • Exercises general supervision and control over all programs, projects, and activities of the municipal government
  • Enforces all laws and ordinances relative to the governance of the municipality
  • Initiates and maximizes the generation of resources and revenues for local development
  • Ensures the delivery of basic services and the provision of adequate public facilities
  • Represents the municipality in all its business transactions and signs contracts and obligations on its behalf

  • Exercises the powers and functions of the Mayor during temporary vacancies
