The youth of the Poblacion barangays officially kicked off the Linggo ng Kabataan (LNK) celebration today, bringing together participants from Poblacion 1-6 for a day of camaraderie and fun.

The kickoff began with a parade that culminated at the Poblacion 5 Covered Court, where the participants gathered for a short program and orientation. Four teams, namely Blue, Purple, Fuchsia, and Green, were formed and will take part in the various activities lined up for the celebration.

The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) councils of the Poblacion barangays, together with youth volunteers, are taking the lead in facilitating the games and other activities throughout the celebration.

The LNK festivities for the Poblacion barangays will feature a series of activities that will run until August 29.
